YOUNG Australian women are literally shopping until they drop, forgoing food and bill payments to feed their addictions to the latest designer clothes and shoes. Ignoring empty bank balances and poor economic forecasts, the "urge to splurge'' generation of 18- to 35-year-old women have become binge shoppers, caught in a web of spiralling debt.
